I am an artist, the track is my canvas the car is my brush.
Normal service resumed, Flash took pole position.
Race one was another walk in the park for Flash as he secured the win by a margin of 7 seconds over 2nd placed Beau “As long as its red it’ll do” Sullivan. The surprise of race one was Stef Christofotou who gets his first comment in the Race League Blog.
Flash was his usual dominate self in the heats as he again romped into the sunrise in race two, come on guys, shall we give Flash the trophy now?
Jack “Jackpot” Williamson had clearly woken from his nap as he appeared in in 2nd place after a tussle with Beau “Red Red Wine” Sullivan, Beau had to settle for 3rd.
Henry George signalled his intentions, pole position for his class and the pole position point.
Enjoying the early tricky conditions just like Flash, Henry also converted pole position into a race win for race one, Just, as Kye Kinch took 2nd half a second behind race winner Henry.
Jessica “The Piranha” White completed the podium positions.
The same three drivers also run the show for race two but in a slightly different order. Kye Kinch took top spot, a tenth ahead of “The Piranha” a much tightly competition in B Group. The ever-present Henry George filled 3rd.
Matthew “Max, Not Jos Verstappen” grabbed his chance of an A Final placement after winning the B Final.
Two wins positioned Flash at the head of the field for the A Final.
Flash wasn’t going to have another stroll to 1st position.
A great start from Flash held 1st position, but the storm was brewing behind as a whole heard of drivers kept knock on Flash’s door!
Brilliant Kye was the first driver to break through, tough defensive work form Flash, but Kye was through and into the lead.
“Jackpot” and “Cabernet Sauvignon” were again sharing the same inch of the circuit and most importantly in with the leaders. Kye’s lead is getting bigger, The Flash’s defensive work is sure to crack, It has, Henry George is through, that’s an important pass for the championship lead!
You shouldn’t tease “The Piranha! Jessic was the next past The Flash as his hard work came undone very quickly.
Kye crosses the line, Victory!
Henry George is a very important 2nd and Jessica fills an important 3rd place, another overall podium for “The Piranha.”
Driver Of The Day! Kye Kinch
Championship Top 3!
Harry Nottage: 102
Oliver Flashman: 97
Beau Sullivan: 92
Harry Fleming was back! Pole position was his reward.
Georgie ANKAHHHHHH is looking for his first championship win in the Senior League after winning the Cadet Championship many moons ago. Winning race one was the best possible start to doing this as he crossed the line ahead of 2nd place Jack “It was his fault” Adams. Always in the points, Harry Fleming was there again in 3rd.
George ANKAHHHHHH was on Fire! (He probably started it) another win in race two after battering his way into a 3 second advantage over Harvey “Always Smiling but slightly smelly” Roffe, Oliver Moo-Jew-Jew crossed the line to collect another good haul of points in 3rd.
Jack Goldsmith collected another pole position and another fastest pole position lap point.
Lewis “The Beacon” Deacon returned for some racing action this week after getting himself lost in other, lesser circuits (Boring) Not an inch of rust on our Lewis, Race one done, Lewis = 1st! Mr unpronounceable, Harry Charalalalalalalalalalambous finished a strong 2nd leaving Jack Goldsmith following in his wake in 3rd.
We were rolling back the years today as I looked at the driver’s entrance sheet to see the name “Danny Harrison” Oh No, It can’t be? Can It? Danny was taking part in his first Race League event since January 2011 and he hasn’t grown an inch!
Losing not a millimetre of his “Competitiveness” (or gaining a millimetre in height) Danny “Tater Tot” Harrison and Jack Goldsmith had the race of the season so far, very entertaining with both drivers not giving an inch, it eventually was “Short Stack, Tater Tot” Danny that collected the race win! Same time next week Danny? Jack was just as impressive as he crossed the line in 2nd as the dust settled and the tumble weed rolled by, James Littlechild collected the final podium place in 3rd.
Harry Fleming took his chance of an A final position via a shoot out in the B Final.
“The Beacon” shone brightly at the head of the field as Lewis was the leader of the pack, pole position for the A Final.
Take your marks, get set, Go!
Lewis lead the way, it was Moo-Jew-Jew “Moo”ving his way through the field (did you see what I did there?) already in 4th Moo-Jew-Jew was pressuring “ANKAHHHHHH”
Lewis’ lead was gone! Goldsmith was past and into the lead, the pressure kept mounting on Lewis and soon ANKAHHHHHH was through “Sick Bruv”
Danny Harrison was involved in all the action, never one that’s too far away from some carnage our Danny!
Mr consistent Jack crossed the line to collect maximum points, just ahead of ANKAHHHHHH, again in the points was 3rd placed Oliver Moo-Jew-Jew.
