Wanting to break free was Lee! Lee Chapman’s been listening to a bit too much Queen as he put the lyrics into action. Lee had “One Vision” and he looked for a “Breakthru” The “Show Must Go On” and it was Jack Adams who again donned his Busman’s hat and parked it into 2nd…. That’s better than defending 9th, hey Jack?
Lee wasn’t “Under Pressure” out front has his lead grew. Jake Taplin was pushing, pulling, tugging and slapping but the bus wasn’t moving leaving Jake’s 3rd place under threat from Stef Christo-Fuu-Fuu who was holding 4th. “Don’t Stop Me Now” Lee was “Prince Of The Universe” as he crossed the line to the sounds of “We Are The Champions.” “Another One Bites The Dust” as Jack Adams returned the bus to the depot. Jake’s still in the championship hunt with a great 3rd place.
The show didn’t go on for Lee, instead it was “El Rapido” Adam Harding setting the pace.
Adam settled into 1st place and made himself comfortable, at least that was until Harry Nottage arrived, His arrival as delicate as the usually Nottage / Job arrival can be… Operation defend from Adam from now on. Jake Taplin was there again, points make prizes and Jake is looking for as many as possible. Adam held onto his position with Harry 2nd and Jake another 3rd.
Jake Taplin was in the money seat as the A final started and he used his position well, hold the lead and pulling away. The Bus took 2nd as Jack actually looked to force some damage on Jake’s lead. Jack Adams’ defensive approach was his undoing in the final as despite being faster than the leader he decided to defend. There is a problem with being the cork in the bottle and Jack soon found this out!
Harry Chamamamamamalbous inherited 2nd, he was a bit forceful with Jack but 2nd was his for the taking, the man with the biggest smile would actually be Adam Harding, another position and more championship points for Adam Harding. Our runaway was Jake Taplin! Maximum points for Jake. Harry Chamamamamamalbous kept his 2nd point leaving Adam to take 3rd.

Kye Kinch checked out and won the first battle of the day as he battered the field winning by over 10 seconds! Jack Williamson had no answer to Kye dominance as he limped across the line in 2nd. Oliver “The Wolf” Shelton completed the podium with 3rd.
Kye made it 2 in 2! Another win and front row for the A final, so far so good for Kye! Jack again filled the “Bridesmade” positon in 2nd leaving 3rd again for Oliver Shelton.
Bootleggin Beau was the cream that rose to the top in heat 1, 1st place at the chequered flag with Joshua Pattrick 2nd and a strong 3rd for Matthew Copsey.
Beau again secured a win in heat 2 following in Kye’s footsteps. Nathan “The Dab” Crowey filled Joshua’s position from race 1 as he filled 2nd in race 2. Emily Jackson filled the final podium position in 3rd.
Harry Shillingford won the B final to secure a place in the A final.
ArrBisto! Like a Sunday gravy, Jack Williamson always saves his best till last, and when there are even more points at steak!
Two 2nd’s in the heat was followed by a win in the in all important A final. Jack certainly knows when to perform at his best.
A great A final which also saw Kye Kinch fill 2nd position and Beau 3rd, these three drivers have been head and shoulders above the competition all season long. Is it too late for Jack?
