Introducing the new Brentwood Karting Junior Race League
The Junior Race League follows on from the renoun racing league 'THE
CADET ACADEMY' for 8-15yr olds, which has been established for over 4 years. The academy has seen a
number of its drivers progress to fame throughout the Motorsport world.
The Junior Race League has been
introduced to give a greater opportunity to novice drivers who want to
race regular whilist being in the presence of some of the UK's top
Junior karting talents giving them the opportunity to compete alongside
them. The Junior Race League will have 3 Driver Categories which are
listed and explained below.
Racing
will continue every Sunday as normal but under the new Championship title of 'Junior
Race League'.
This format will continue the same as it has previously but give
drivers more of a chance to pass the induction in order to race.
This will continue the same until Week 6 of the current Race Season. At
the point of Race 6 drivers will be seeded. The top 10 seeded will
continuing to compete in the Junior Race League continuing with points
already earnt. Those drivers outside the top ten will continue to race
but, in the Rookie League (see below). At the end of the 12 Week Season
the 2 lowest scoring drivers of the Junior League will be relegated to
the Rookie league and have the opportunity to gain promotion the
following season or by becoming the highest scoring Rookie in the
Allstar Cup (a race which is held at the end of every season and is
open to Past/Future and Present drivers).
The Rookie League will start from week 6 and all drivers will start
with 0 points. There will be an inclusion of other drivers who are new
to the sport and all drivers will compete until the last week of the 6
week season. The top Driver from the rookie league will gain an
automatic promotion into the following season of the Cadet Race League.
The second promotion spot will go to the highest scoring Rookie of the
All Star Cup.
The Rookie League starts 14th March. All drivers must be registered.
That gives you 7 weeks practice before the season starts.
