That title got your attention didn’t it!
This looks exciting!
Here at Brentwood and Lakeside we are always keen to offer more than just a turn up, drive and go home service, so, on Wednesday 01st August we’ll be doing something a little different.
Brentwood Karting will be hosting Century Motorsport who, along with Century and Brentwood driver Ben Green and BRDC member and team manager Nathan Freke will be coaching drivers and there will also be some information for parents who always have that all to familiar question “What do I do next”
Nathan Freke is no stranger to motorsport, the 2006 Formula Ford Champion has driven pretty much everything there is to drive when it come to racing from Champ Cars in the United States to Formula 3 , Formula BMW and GT3 in the UK.
Nathan is the team manager of the successful Century Motorsport team and is the perfect person for parents of our budding drivers to seek advice from.
Drivers will receive coaching from Brentwood’s very own Ben Green, Ben currently races for Century in the brand new 2018 BMW M4 GT4 and he won at Snetterton last month giving Century and BMW themselves their first ever win in the car for a customer team in Europe.
Ben is of course no stranger to Brentwood, after starting from Brentwood’s flourishing Race League Ben went onto the Ginetta Junior Championship which also currently has another 5 Brentwood drivers competing in this season before progressing into the Ginetta Supercup Championship and for 2018 Ben joined the British GT Championship.
After some coaching Ben will be doing a few Hotlaps in the car itself.
The car is an animal, Labelled by BWM as “The New Challenger” this car is doing incredibly well not just for Ben in British GT but across Europe and the rest of the world.
The car boasts 450BHP from its straight 6 twin turbo charged engine, so it’s safe to say this will be the most power car to lap Brentwood Karting, If you have something more powerful and want to do a couple laps give us a call. 😀
This is an opportunity not to be missed
